Peppered Louisiana Blue Crab
Local Lousiana seafood dish that is low in calories and high in flavor!
Ingredients:
½ cup - Sesame seed oil |
2 Tbsp. - Black pepper, coarsely ground |
1 Tbsp. - Cayenne pepper |
1 Tbsp. - Jalapeño pepper, seeded, fine dice |
½ cups - Garlic, chopped |
1½ cups - Sweet chili sauce |
12 each - Louisiana Blue Crabs, steamed whole |
3 cups Clam juice |
¾ cups Flat-leaf parsley, chopped |
Instructions:
1 | Cut the steamed, hot Louisiana Blue Crabs in half and place in a bowl. |
2 | Heat a large saute pan over medium-high heat; add sesame oil, black pepper, cayenne pepper and jalapeno pepper. Cook for 30 seconds. |
3 | Add the garlic and stir for another 30 seconds. Add the sweet chili sauce, stirring in for another 30 seconds. Add the clam juice and bring to a boil. Pour the boiling mixture over the Louisiana Blue Crabs a little at a time; toss and repeat until all of the mixture has been has been added. |
4 | Garnish with parsley. |
