Lemon Turmeric Ginger Latte

Looking to clean up your act in the new year? Here is a healthy latte you can prepare iced or hot and with any nut milk. 

Ingredients:

1 cup of almond milk or nut milk of your choice
4 teaspoon's of turmeric
1 teaspoon of grated ginger (peel the ginger first)
1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
1 pinch of salt
1-2 pinches of cardamon

Instructions:

1In a small saucepan, heat on medium heat the almond milk 5-7 mins.)
2Once almond milk is steaming add the turmeric and the rest of the ingredients. Whisk until frothy.
3Poor turmeric latte into a glass mug with a wedge of lemon. Enjoy warm!

Cook's Tips:

This latte is great for cleansing your body of toxin as well as boosting your immune system.  To make this beverage cold, follow the steps with out the warming the milk and just add ice.
