Chocolate Tea

As the weather becomes cooler, try this fun-warm-chocolatey drink for all ages. 

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. of cacao nibs
1/2 tsp. of ground ginger
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
2 cup of boiling water
1-2 tbsp. of sugar or substitute such as Stevia. Make the drink as sweet or non-sweet as you desire.

Instructions:

1In a small pot heat water to a boil.
2Add sugar and spices. Whisk until spices and sugar dissolve. Add cacao nibs. Let boil for one minute, stir. Turn water down low and simmer for 5 mins more.
3Strain with a screen or small colander and pour hot into 1-2 medium size mugs. Let cool slightly before serving children.

Cook's Tips:

Mix up the spices to anything you want, such as instead of ginger try cloves or mexican pepper spices, or anise. Tastes great with vanilla extract too!
