This summer, Free People (the popular bohemian-inspired women’s clothing line) posted a feature on its BLDG 25 blog (blog.freepeople.com) asking readers to pitch their favorite yoga studios for a chance to be selected for a Free People #FPLETSMOVE Studio Takeover. After a committee review, based on a set criteria, Free People chose Reyn Studios as the perfect backdrop for the event.
With the help of the Free People’s display team, the studio was transformed into a beautiful Free People-themed sanctuary for a day of candle-lit yoga sessions. Reyn Studios owner Reyn Lambert hosted three classes; each was donation-based with proceeds benefitting the RSOM Foundation. This program, created by Lambert and others in the local community, aims to create meaningful relationships with the community by instilling the principles of wellness and empowerment through yoga. The classes raised more than $500 for RSOM.
The event also featured light bites and refreshments from City Greens (salads, watermelon gazpacho and flavored fresh-squeezed lemonade), and Free People’s new FD Movement line of activewear essentials (currently including offerings for yoga, dance, surfing and running) was also on display. After yoga and refreshments, each guest received a tote bag giveaway full of wellness goodies. reynstudios.com
